If you’re a British national getting a marriage or civil partnership abroad, you might need certain documents from the UK government, for example, a certificate of no impediment (CNI). However, in Indonesia, it is now known as a marriage Affirmation / Affidavit.

Our team will help book the in person appointment for you at the British Embassy Jakarta or the British Consulate Office in Bali and we will guide you on the preparation of the relevant forms and documents needed to ensure the process goes smoothly for you.

Processing Time

The marriage affirmation/affidavit will be provided to you on the same day that you attend the appointment. Please note there are a limited amount of appointments per week so it is best not to leave it until the last minute, it can be applied for up to 3 months in advance of your proposed marriage date.

Costings

The fee of £50 is payable to the UK government by credit/debit card in advance of attending your appointment and we will assist with this payment. Our administration fee is £75.
